Welcome to the webpage for the Petti research group! We are broadly interested in designing mathematical and computational methods to answer biological questions. Much of our focus is on developing mathematical methods for the analysis of genotype-phenotype maps, mappings from biological sequences such as DNA, RNA or protein to some measurable trait. Other interests include protein structure comparison and differentiable algorithms for discrete problems. We are part of the Mathematics Department at Tufts University and supported by the Burroughs Wellcome Fund.
